What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Throughout the entire process of creating my media AS coursework, i have used a range of programs. The programs I used were:

Adobe Photoshop CS5

I used this program to cover the whole creative aspect of the coursework, as it had every tool that i needed to create the highest quality of work. i deited all my photos and was able to create an effective display for my magazine.
The program is available at the college, and is regarded as the most advanced and best photo editing software. It covers every possible option in regards to editing and creating. this was the first time i was able to use photoshop and at first it was very hard to grasp all the diffrent tools and elemnets. i have learnt that i need to take photos on a clear backfround as they are much easier to edit.I learnt to consider aspects of photos such as camera angle, shot distance, composition and location. Plus of course, many of the tools to manipulate the photograph.
another thing i have learnt how to make my images alot clearer and defined by changing the brightness and contrast. i can now use the majority of tools to make the best products possible.

This web program allowed me to post annotations on my magazine pages, making my evaluations very dynamic. I could then post these photo links onto my blogger. The program has a wide range of options to categorize and annotate your images; it is of course free, and a reliable website for posting my work. the disadvantages of the site is that it isn't very easy to use as i had to change all my files to jpeg, I also needed to create a yahoo email address to use it.

dafont

This is a logo of the website dafont.com where the inspirations of my fonts come from. I have chosen quite a lot of fonts from this website as they are very helpful because there isn't many different types of fonts on Photoshop. I have managed to copy and paste some fonts onto Photoshop to make my work more entertaining. This is the most helpful website for doing this project because without technology, I wouldn't be able to use different fonts for my magazine.

blogger-

i used Blogger as it is a free yet officient blogging program, allowing me to cover all the aspects of my coursework and write explanations for different parts of the course. The website is free, and simple it allows any format to be placed onto the blog, and has the option to add photos and videos etc; which is very helpful and easy to present my work. the only disadvantage of blogger is that you have to change files to PDF or jpegs.
