I recognized that it was fundamental for me to address the audience in a language they are used to. Considering their interests (see mood board) I noticed that the audience is an equal amont of male and female audience, therefore i addressed them in a formal, upbeat tone. I tried to include euphemisms, to present a happy, upbeat tone. i also used hyperbol techniques to my audience more ingaged and excited. The style of the magazine as a whole would attract the audience as it is very commercial and bold.
I believe someone would want to be associated with 'Flawless', as it is modern, and puts across a attitude, happy feel yet is still rebelling against some conventions. this relates to my target audiences personality.
the audience is ultimately addressed with a subject they are interested in; being alternative music and fashion; otherwise, why would they buy the magazine? The unique selling point of the magazine is that it that it combines music and fashion with other arts such as photography.it is also heavily involved with latest gigs and concerts, which would attract my audience.
I aim to address the audience with advertisements from alcholic brands, docmartins, and pretty much anything fashionabl and quirky. This way, it adds a sense of individualism, and refers back to the fact that my audience want to be different yet iconic.
I asked for feedback throughout the designing process. i asked many friends who were into this type of style and if they would be interested in it. i also asked my media teacher who has alot of knowledge in the selling side of the magazine industry. I always acted upon this feedback, in aim to improve my magazine even further.
